A Short History

1920s

Byron Street Works was built in the 1920’s as the local co-op bakery. The works was extended on numerous occasions is mostly built of stone with slate roofs.

1970s

In the early 1970’s the building became home of Equip (Midlands) Limited a supplier of grinding and polishing products to the aerospace and automotive industries.

2009

In 2009 Equip was joined by Multisys, a computer software company.

2014

Equip’s old offices were refurbished to a high standard and became available to rent to small businesses.
